1879 Caledonian Step Top Range manufactured by The
McClary Mfg. Co. This is an all cast iron range very unique and
decorative. The overall measurements are 41" high to the top of the
flue x 54" deep from the front of the range to the back x 32.5" wide.
The front legs are 9" high and the back legs are 18" high. On the
front cooking surface there is 4 lids and 2 cooking lids on the top of
the oven. The oven is on the back at the top of the stove with 2 racks
inside and there is a door on each side of the oven.
This is a very unique and rare stove. On the front and back of the
oven there is a man playing bagpipes in relief and the inscription
above the man says, "Wha Daur Meddle Wi Me"
This stove is in as found condition and all original a true Museum
